Spring Clean-Up April 19th

Our annual Spring Clean-Up is happening this Sunday morning (April 19th from 9am to 12pm). We've got a number of projects happening around the centre plus there will be snacks and refreshments on our lakeside patio.

Whether you can come for the whole morning or just a part of it, everyone's help is greatly appreciated. Clean-up is always great for connecting with other members.

Some of the projects planned for this year's clean-up include:

  • Creating planters for along the Abbott Street fence.
  • Assembling a new boat rack to create additional storage spaces.
  • Weeding and planting the gardens around the clubhouse.
  • Cleaning and seasonal maintenance for the KPC boats & boards.
  • Filling in the sandy depressions in the parking lot.

By the end of the morning the centre should be looking sharp and be ready to welcome both members and the community to come paddle this season!
